Hi guys today in WGA we watched a short film called "Geri's Game", the short film was about an old man playing chess against himself. You also had to write it in the way script's are written.
The dull green bench had leaves on it because it was Autumn. Someone then blew away the leaves from the table. He slams his bony hands against the bench and pulls out a chess board. He then sets up the chess board.
Geri 1 : Alright, lets play a game of chess, whoever wins gets to keep the dentures.
Geri 2 : Okay ill play I know i'm gonna win anyways.
Geri 1 makes his first move shortly after that Geri 2 follows after. They keep on making moves until Geri 2 makes a move the takes down one of Geri's 1 Pawns. Geri 2 carries on taking out Geri 1's chess pieces every time he takes a piece down he starts to laugh. Now there is only one left. Geri 1 get's an idea, he then falls of his chair. Geri 2 then gets worried and looks under the table.
Geri 2 : Geri?, you okay?
Geri 1 then gets up quickly and switches the sides of the board, Geri 1 now looks like he is winning and Geri 2 is losing. Geri 2 gets back up from looking under the table.
Geri 2: You okay Geri?
Geri 1 : Haha, yes i'm fine but look at the board you are losing.
Geri 2 is confused he looks and sees that he has one piece left. It was Geri 1's turn, Geri 1 then puts a piece right next to Geri 2's last piece. Geri 2 has an angry and confused look on his face, since it was Geri 2 last turn he then flicked over his last piece. Geri 2 then takes out the dentures and gives it to Geri 1, Geri 1 puts the dentures in and then starts to laugh at Geri 2.
