Science of Mars

We watched a video made by Astronaut Chris Hadfield and we got a question. Here is the question and my answer.


Q: What happens to a wet wash cloth in space?

A: Chris Hadfield put water on a cloth towel. The cloth absorbed the water and when Chris Hadfield went and squished the wet cloth the water got stuck on his hands. The reason why it sticks to your hands is because of Surface Tension.

    I liked the clear and concise answer you gave for this fast finish task. I can tell you have a good understanding of what we watched in the video clip and you even used your scientific vocabulary like "surface tension" to explain what was happening.
